    When I add an image the picture stretches to fit the screen. The only way I can get the proper dimensions is to delete the Height and Width in the Text area of the Content box.

    Here is my website: http://www.hardware-360.com/

    Here is a link to what the images do when I don't manually size them in the Text area: http://www.hardware-360.com/ek-working-on-water-block-for-asus-r9-280x-dc-graphics-card/

    As you can see the image is stretched

    Your theme appears to be built on a 'tidythemes' starter theme. There may be some help on the tidythemes forums if the starter theme has anything unusual about how it handles images.

    What are your media sizes set to?
    Go to settings -> media

    your image sizes for thumbnail, medium and large should be shown.

    The image in your example page is 1095px × 581px and it is being scaled down in the browser to fit the size available.

    When you add the image, after you click add media and select your image, what do you select as the setting for size in the panel to the right of that screen under attachment display settings?

    Great! While this problem doesn't really appear to be theme or even WordPress related we still like to offer as much support as we can for all sorts of web design related issues, for our users.

    Feel free to ask for help now or anytime in the future on the official forum:

    Here are the settings I use

    Here is what I have to delete to make it work right. Doesn't align center or have the right aspect ratio if I don't delete the WxH
