Image Preview Not Working in Media Library

    Hello,

    We built a site on a different server and moved it over to a new one once it was done being built. We have done this many times and haven’t had an issue until now… I can upload images to the media library, however, the preview isn’t there it is just a empty box and all the images used from the Media library wouldn’t show up I had to re-upload and when I did that they didn’t upload to the current months folder, it appears they went into the monthy they were originally from.

    I have changed my permissions and searched for answers for many hours with no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Were the images also migrated from the old server to the new one?

    Are you seeing this issue when you upload a new image?

    The images were also migrated and yes I am seeing this when new images are uploaded that were never on the old server.

    Try temporarily switching all plugins off and enable a default theme such as twenty twelve.

    Do the images then appear?

    If not, I would take a look at the site error_log. This is sometimes available in the WP root or through a link available from the webhost.

    I have tried disabling the plugins both all at once and one by one, neither worked. I haven’t tried going back to the default theme yet… I have been trying to avoid this since we just launched the site, I will give it a try though.

    I just tried using the default theme and the issue was still there. There aren’t any logs available for the site until tomorrow I guess I have to sit tight and wait to see if anything turns up.

    When I find something out I will post it.
