[Resolved] Image placement problem

  • Hi!

    I’m running the website of my college newspaper and I’ve recently run into a weird problem. On the homepage (http://www.utrikesperspektiv.se) everything looks fine, but when I chose to only show articles from one category (like here: http://www.utrikesperspektiv.se/category/konflikt/) some of the images tend to continue down below the lower limits of the post excerpt and into the next post, creating a rather ugly mish-mash xD Anyone know how to fix this (please bear in mind that I’m very mush a novice, so… short words ;P)?
    Thx!

  • Try adding this right before the first closing div after your content is shown:

    <div style="clear: both;"><!-- --></div>

    That should cause it to clear the div after the aligned image, preventing the image from going past the end of the dib.

    Sorry, dumb question, perhaps, but which file should I place the code in? I tried the main index template, but it didn’t seem to do anything…
    Thanks!

    it would need to be added in each template file that displays post listings (index.php, search.php, archive.php – and perhaps others depending on the theme).

    Look for an entry div:

    <div class=”entry”>

    (add it right before the closing div)
    </div>

    Otherwise I would have to see your index.php file to know for sure

    WOW, it worked! You’re my hero now, didn’t think I’d ever get it to work!
    Thx a million!
