Our image server is using wget to fetch images from clients. Just tried and got an 403 from your server.
We will improve the request way to carry our user-agent on to bypass your server firewall check.
Thanks for feedback.
Hm, but this is strange – both main site and photography portfolio are on the same server. Perhaps it’s because of 6G Firewall rules in .htaccess. It may be missing in main. Or WordFence.
That’s fine. I reset all your 2nd sites requests. They have been done for a while.
Do I have to push optimization request every 100 images? Isn’t the process automated for whole media library?
Shouldn’t needed. Should need to send request one time.
I believe that 6G Firewall may be causing problems with LiteSpeed Cache image optimization. The whole .htaccess firewall rules can be found here – https://perishablepress.com/6g/ – if you wish to analyse them.
I’m also using WordFence on both szmigieldesign.pl and photography.szmigieldesign.pl but szmigieldesign.pl lacks 6G Firewall rules and there are no problems with communication between my site and Image Optimization Server.
szmigieldesign.pl seems to work fine, photography.szmigieldesign.pl stalled and there’s no way to push it further (timeouts or next request in 24 hours). I’ve removed 6G Firewall from .htaccess but it didn’t help.
This is what I have on photography.szmigieldesign.pl now:
Erorr:
Failed to push to LiteSpeed server: Previous optimization requests remaining in queue: 1183
Stats:
Images total: 480
Images not yet requested: 380
Waiting to be pulled: 27
Optimized and pulled: 73
Hi,
you guys found any solution yet cause I have exactly the same issues on plaettlimaxx.ch:
Failed to push to LiteSpeed server: Too many errors when try to fetch image source files from your previous request, please contact LiteSpeed.
on wohnhirsch.ch get messages like this:
SAPI Error cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
and so on: any suggestions?
I’ve contacted my hosting company and they’ve replied that this functionality is being implemented and I’ll be informed on their progress. I hope that’ll fix the errors as this plugin’s image compression implementation is one of the best among WordPress plugins – good quality, good speed gains.
