Image Optimization Errors: Hash Does Not Match/No Auth Key

    Running WordPress multisite. One of my sites is no longer able to use image optimization. It receives the following errors:

    Failed to post via WordPress: "hash does not match: ClientCB[wrong passive callback] Server[2VuyTa08Yj6wJ3uK]"
Failed to post via WordPress: "hash does not match: ClientCB[wrong passive callback] Server[Y4yqCte12JVChtQe]"
Failed to post via WordPress: "no auth_key"

    I tried to generate a report, but can’t send it. The send results in a similar error:

    Failed to post via WordPress: "hash does not match: ClientCB[wrong passive callback] Server[DVSsCuLpFkYFlI3u]"

    I tried resetting the IAPI key. I get a success message, but nothing image optimization related works. “Send,” “Cleanup,” and “Destroy” all produce the same errors.

    It is likely related to a major site update I just did. I set everything up for the redesign on a second site using subdomain. When it was ready, I renamed and archived the old site and updated the DB to rename the new site to the old domain name. I had just done the same thing for a different domain on this multisite setup without issue, but I’m guessing something went wrong this time. In any case, it seems stuck now and I don’t see how to fix it. Help would be appreciated.

    Sorry, I didn’t think the report was going through as it was throwing an error. I just tried again, and apparently it does go through in addition to the error.

    So, the report number is: FFSYPJSO

    Hi @bradbrownmagic, do you have any firewall setup on the server or WordPress? If you could you please try to add these IPs on the whitelist?

    I don’t have a firewall, other than Cloudflare–but that’s also true for the other sites on this multisite setup that were working.

    However, I just tried it again and it worked. I don’t know whether you did something on your end, or something changed on my end, or the planets aligned correctly, or…? In any case, it seems everything is working now.
