 * Howdy,
 * I have been trying to get the images on a site optimised and have encountered
   a few issues relating to timeouts.
 * The major one of them is that when you have cloudflare in place, pulling processed
   images results in a timeout error. Cloudflare has a maximum timeout of 100seconds
   that I cannot override.
 * Is there any way the optimization process can be configured to limit the number
   of images/image groups that were sent in any one go.
 * D.

 * Hi there,
 * Do you mean the `fetching image process` (our image optm servers fetch the raw
   images from your server) or `pulling image process` (your server pull the finished
   images from our srever)?
 * We will have a feature in v3.0 to use the host ip to bypass CDN when fetching
   images.

 * The timeouts occurred with both processes, but it was predominately when pulling
   images are they were processed. Especially when it was working on a couple of
   hundred images at level 1.
 * I ended up bypassing the webserver/CloudFlare by manually running the wp-cron.
   php file from the command line.
 * Once I hit the level that allowed full automation the cron script appeared to
   work by itself, but prior to that it was a painful exercise.

 * I agree it’s a bad experience. That’s why we planed to rebuild the image optimization
   process in v3.0. Once it’s done, the current Level limit will be removed.
