Image of the Post not showing up on Home Page excerpt of the post

    Hi !

    Pl see post :

    The image on this post has some text etc. But on the Home Page excerpt of the same post, the text etc. is not showing.

    What is showing is the image I used once – then I deleted it and added one with text etc. But while the new image shows up on the post itself, the excerpt on the Home page has retained the earlier image !!

    Pl resolve, thanks much !

    try set the correct featured image in this post.

    Hi Richie !

    This post – just like all other posts, has no featured image. The first image in the post is taken as the thumbnail in all the excerpts, except this one- which continued to take an Older image as the thumbnail – I don’t know why !

    I found the older image in my media library and deleted the same. Now the post excerpt takes the right image as the thumbnail so the problem seems to be resolved.

    Still would appreciate if you could explain what happened – thanks !

    yes, i understand but if you try set featured image on this post, see if the image changes for thumbnail.

    Hi Richie

    this issue has been resolved- I deleted the image I was using, refreshed the cache, uploaded it back again and put it in the post – works !
