Image not viewable once inserted into post

Please help!
Images are uploading to the media gallery just fine, but when I insert them into the post they are not there. The images are also properly uploaded to the uploads directory but the problem is that when I insert the image into the post the file path is not being included and instead a weird super small box with shapes inside appears in place of the photo. Any ideas? This issue is on blog posts and anywhere else I’ve tried to insert a photo.
