Hi, read the documentation please, especially the robots.txt rules you have to include at the root of your website to let Twitter fetch your content.

Plus your image MUST BE UNDER 1MB.

    Hello, jmlapam.

If you’re referring to this in my robots.txt, it’s already there.

    User-agent: Twitterbot
    Disallow:

Also, all of my images are under 1MB.

jmlapam, maybe this will help you figure out what’s going on.

If I choose not to select a “Featured Image” for an article, the fallback image shows up perfectly fine.

It’s only when I do select a featured image, that it never shows up.

I need to check it. I’ll do ASAP. Thanks.

Well, I think this is due to the fact you’re using a CDN for your images.

While it’s good for performance you’re problem might be due to it. So try to authorize Twitter’s bot the same way by uploading a robots.txt with the same rules on : http://cdn.your-domain.

    Bingo!

    It now works perfectly, jmlapam!

Since CDNs are widely used, it might be a good idea to add this information to the Twitter Card documentation. Thanks again for all of your help!

Ok I add this as a FAQ.
