I downloaded this plugin and it worked perfectly on my site. When I moved the site to root the captcha image stopped loading. Uninstall and reinstall two times and image still not showing. Permissions on the parent folder as well as the wpcf7_captcha folder are set to 744, also tried 755. The temp folder is not being created by the plugin so I manually created in wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha but the folder remains empty. I don’t know what to do anymore. Can someone help me?

Check if you have WPCF7_CAPTCHA_TMP_DIR constant defined in wp-config.php. If you have, delete the definition or renew the path.

Thanks so much for your help!
No, I don’t have that in my wp-config.php file so I created the definition manually like so: define( ‘WPCF7_CAPTCHA_TMP_DIR’, ‘/wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_captcha’ );… and now the image disappeared completely. What I am doing wrong?

Nevermind! I decided to use another plugin.

@loiruca, can you pls change the permission of the following directory “/plugins/really-simple-captcha/tmp” and check whether its working or not.

Thanks Sabita, but I’ve already deactivated and deleted this plugin.
