Support » Fixing WordPress » image not display as appropriate

  • In the near end of the blog post above, the image is displayed in a very tiny size.

Originally I copied and pasted the image and the images did display at all.

However if I saved it as png and upload separately it started showing this way. I am not sure how to display image in actual size or bigger size. Pls suggest.

    Thank you.

  • @kbhal Did you try this: https://snipboard.io/7cX2Rw.jpg

Go through this as well: https://wpshout.com/quick-guides/enlarge-image-wordpress/

Let me know how it goes 🙂

Your image is tiny because you have an INLINE STYLE that’s forcing the image to be just 150px wide. This is something that was manually entered (perhaps it came with the copy/paste), and not something that was inserted by WordPress.

Instead of copying and pasting, I’ll suggest you use the editor to insert the image.

(Unrelated, but I can see your test page has 96! H1 headlines. Ideally, you should have only one H1 headline — being the main page headline — and all other sub-headlines being H2-H6.)

    UPDATE:

Looking at the tiny image on the page, it may seem like the rendered image is much smaller than the 150px width that the inline style dictates. But it’s actually 150px… just that the image has A LOT of white space on it, and, of course, you won’t see the white space on a white background!

Below I’ve added a red outline so you’ll see what your actual image looks like. So much white space! So your first step is to CROP the image to remove all the whitespace!

    Hi, kbhal
I’ll suggest you to use any photo editor to insert the image instead of copying and pasting.
