Image not appearing in social media posts

Hi,

this past week my blog posts that automatically get published to Facebook and Twitter don’t show the featured image. When i go the facebook debugger i get that the Meta with name instead of property error. How do i correct this? i used to have Jetpack installed, but then it started giving me broken images on the blog. not sure if it was having issues compatibility wise with another plugin or my theme.

the plugins i run are Yoast SEO, WP Total Cache, WP Newsman Lite, WP Slimstat (installed because i had to delete Jetpack), WP Smush.

my theme is Samantha
