# Image Map Problems

 * I’m having difficulty placing an image map in a page of my site. I can get the
   image map working, but whenever I try to add links to the different parts of 
   it, after submitting the page, wordpress just removes all of the hrefs. What 
   am I doing wrong?
 * EDIT: Just tried it as a standalone html file and it worked fine, so I doubt 
   I’m messing up with the html. I think wordpress is just being wonky.

 * It sounds like you’re pasting HTML code directly into the WYSIWYG editor? That
   way surely leads to disaster.
 * Easiest way (imho) would be to check out the documentation on [Pages](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages)
   and build yourself a new Page Template. Add your image map code to the template.
   Then, create a new Page, choose your new Page Template, add whatever other content
   you want and done.
 * Or, if you just have to put html into your content, disable the WYSIWYG editor.
   Users -> Your Profile. Bottom checkbox on the page, uncheck and save.

 * Awesome. Disabled the Rich Text Editor, put in the code, it works properly now.
