My guess is that your site uses some sort of Lazy loading technique here, and that fails. Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

Indeed, the lazyloading solution that you are using on the site (via a plugin or your theme) is not working properly with images in tables. I can therefore only suggest to not use this lazy loading. In addition, WordPress 5.5 also brings support for lazy-loading now, so that no external solutions should be necessary.
