Support » Plugin: Custom Sidebars - Dynamic Widget Area Manager » Image link in new tab?

    Hi,

This is was a really nice plugin that was easy for me to figure out. There is just one thing that I haven’t been able to do. I have searched the topics and while I can’t believe nobody else has asked, I can’t seem to find it in the forums.

I have been able to put an image in my sidebar (logo for Perlo Construction), and get it to link to a web site (Perlo’s), but it does it in the same tab. I can’t figure out how to get it to open in a new tab so that navigation within my site isn’t lost. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for your help, and for a great plugin.

    Hello @featherhead

    Hope all is well!

I am not sure what widget you are using to show an image, though you can try adding this HTML code in HTML widget or a Text widget:
    <a target="_blank" href="http://PerloSite.com"><img width="127" height="150" src="https://img-url.com" class="image wp-image-445 attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail" alt="" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto;"></a>

Replace the http://PerloSite.com with a site links and https://img-url.com with direct image address.

    Hope this will help!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
