    Greetings:

I am unable to display some types of content in the text widget. I can create links through images as <a><img src="http:xyz.tld/image-1234-5678"></a>. Since this is a redirect through a script, the image doesn’t display. When I enter the URL into a browser it appears to redirect to another url to an actual image. Is there any way to get this to function in the text widget? What about javascript too? Thanks in advance1

If you are the admin, then the Text Widget doesn’t do any filtering of your text. You can enter any kind of HTML you want, including javascripts and anything else.

Your problem is not with the widget in particular, but your bad html or something. Without seeing exactly what your html is, I can’t tell you what is wrong with it.

Firefox Ad Block Plus was killing them. A minor oversight on my part. 🙂 I had a look at the site in ie, and BAM! they were there!
