    Hello Caroline,

First of all thank you very much for this plugin and for you help.

I use Woodmart theme and my WP version and plugins are up to date.

I have an issue with the image of my gift wrap in the cart. Currently I have the popup mode activated. My issue is that the image does not load.
I also tried the jQuery SlideToggle mode but then the image is way too big, it takes all the screen instead of being of a thumbnail size.

Would you have a fix for this? I would rather have the popup mode but if a quick solution exists for the jQuery SlideToggle mode only, it’s good for me!

    Thanks again

    Hello Caroline,

Working with my theme support, I was able to understand the issues I have with the gift wrap image display.

When the popup mode is activated, there is a conflict with lazy loading which makes the image load only after trying to scroll down. Woodmart theme support suggested the following line of code to make the plugin compatible with the theme:
    $(document).trigger('wood-images-loaded');
Would it be possible to include it in a future update of your plugin please?

In the meantime, I’ll use the jQuery SlideToggle mode for which I added custom css to set the image to a specific size.

    Thank you

    Hi @juliettedebisschop

Thanks for your patience and your contributions – it’s very appreciated.

In the FAQ, there is this about image sizing: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gift-wrapper/#can%20i%20change%20the%20giftwrap%20thumbnail%20size%3F Some theme “thumbnails” are just very large!

As far as adding JavaScript to support a theme, hmmmmm… I’ll consider it, but I’m not sure that’s the direction I want to head in, at least not with the free version. Are all plugins using basic modals (this is a super basic modal) expected to conform to WoodMart… or should it be the other way around? Again, I need to think about it. Anyway, I don’t have a recent copy of WoodMart, so I can’t test and develop anyway. If you want to pursue this further, get in touch by email at http://www.giftwrapper.app.

    Thank you!! 🙂

    Hello Caroline,

And thank you for taking the time to reply.

I understand that you are not keen on adapting your plugin to one theme.
Fortunately, I was able to find a solution with my theme support: include with custom css a block inside the popup that displays the giftwrap picture. I just had to disable thumbnail display in your settings. Now it works fine.

    Thank again!

I really appreciate your kind understanding, and admire your endeavor to make this work on your own. That’s the spirit of WordPress!

Your update might help other people here. At the same time, I might also build something in once I get my hands on a copy of Woodmart, and some time away from paying work. Time will tell…

    Hi @juliettedebisschop

I hope you are doing well. Were you able to sort something out for your website? I hope so. I built Woodmart JS support into the paid version of this plugin, so it’s available, it’s just not free. But for folks wanting it the free way your advice above will help. Thank you!

If I don’t hear back I’ll assume you are sorted and will close this thread. Have a great day!

    Hello @sagehen,

Thank you for following up and for the notice.
Everything works well now with the piece of code that I added previously. Should I add it here or do you prefer not?

Otherwise you can close this thread – thank you again for this super useful plugin and your availability 🙂
