Support » Theme: Omega » image instead of header

  • Resolved lukageelen

    Hi there! many many thanks for helping me here.
    I’ve seen a lot of tutorials on this, but none of them seem to work for me.
    This is my site:
    i would like to have a logo instead of the header on the top of the site.
    I have an image in the library i can use, but where to add it and how?
    this is the header text:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html <?php language_attributes(); ?>>
    <meta charset=”<?php bloginfo( ‘charset’ ); ?>”>
    <title><?php hybrid_document_title(); ?></title>
    <link rel=”profile” href=”″>
    <link rel=”pingback” href=”<?php bloginfo( ‘pingback_url’ ); ?>”>

    <?php wp_head(); ?>

    <body class=”<?php hybrid_body_class(); ?>” itemscope=”itemscope” itemtype=””>

    <?php do_atomic( ‘before’ ); // omega_before ?>

    <div class=”site-container”>

    <?php get_template_part( ‘partials/header’ ); ?>

    <div class=”site-inner row”>

    <?php do_atomic( ‘before_main’ ); // omega_before_main ?

    Go to “Appearance > Customize”, find branding > logo and upload your file.

    ah great! so busy trying to find a way in css that i didn’t look if this theme supported a costumizable header… thanks!

    Han – Hello, Thank you for creating such a beautiful theme. I wanted to have my logo/image go across whole page instead of being in the grey header box. How would I make the logo/image for the header go across entire page?

    Go to “Appearance > Customize > CSS” and add this code to make the logo area full width

    .site-header > .wrap {
        max-width: 100%;
        padding: 0;
        width: 100%;

    To remove the grey background

    .site-header {
        background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
