image inside Pods custom field doesn’t show on lightbox

Hello; i have created a custom post type called “Artist”, inside which i have inserted a custom field called “Recensioni” (review) where upload images or pdf. The problem is that the images are not opened correctly inside the lightbox; the developer of the theme says that the default WP gallery is used, but the image link has a URL to the attachment page instead of the image/media file.

How can i fix it inside Pods please?

Hello @totogigi

The use of the WP gallery is optional, you can also create your own gallery with this field.
If this plugin doesn’t support the WP gallery there is not much we can do to fix that.

Sorry Jory, but how can i bypass the wp gallery and create my own gallery?
Or
how can i simply show the image(s)? What’s wrong with my settings?

The WordPress Gallery

In the “Output as WP Gallery” you have the “Gallery Image Links” option. You probably need to set this to “media file” just like you normally would in a WP Gallery.

You can also use an each loop if you want to create a custom gallery loop:

Hi Jory, thank you. The misunderstanding was because i wasn’t able to see the “output as wp gallery” options: i had selected “other” into “Restrict File Types” (i had set manually the image type file because i’m not sure that webp is included). Choosing “images” i can see it and now it works.
