Image inclusion alters post url

  • The post URL’s work perfectly (post title)with permalinks enabled until an image is included in the post. Then the URL (sent to members by email for new posts) looks like this

    http://www.domain.com?p=424

with the post title not appearing in the URL. Any ideas?

  • Since I know WP doesn’t automatically send email for new posts… what plugin are we using for that? I’d probably start there.

Thanks for the reply. It’s not a plug-in, just the sign-up to be notified of new posts, which I’m pretty sure was included in the sidebar of default (Kubrick) theme. The odd URL in question is also in the address bar when the link is clicked, but not when the same post is viewed by navigating through the archives – in that case the correct title displays within the address bar.

which I’m pretty sure was included in the sidebar of default (Kubrick) theme.

    Not that I’ve ever seen.

    Is this a K2 thing?

My mistake, HandySolo, sorry. There is indeed a plug-in, Subscribe2 by Skippy. Perhaps I’ll try to contact the author himself. Thank you.
