Image grouping by ratio broken in 1.3.0

    Hi there,

    A client alerted me to grouping images by ratio not working and them having to crop each individually. I’ve done some testing and it looks like this has stopped working in 1.3.0, when I roll back to 1.2.6 the functionality works as expected on my sites (also tested with Storefront and WooCommerce active to double check).

    I had a look in the plugin’s settings to see if it had to be opted in to now but couldn’t see a way to enable – if this is the case and I’ve just missed it please do let me know! Otherwise if you could let me know when it’s safe to update to 1.3.* I’d really appreciate it.

    Hi @matthewdixon,
    thanks for the feedback.
    In 1.3.0 the functionality has slightly changed as you can now choose what should happen from the select menu between “do nothing”, “select together” and “group together”. Other than that noting has changed.

    • Is the select menu visible?
    • Did the problem occurs when “select together” or “group together” is selected?
    • Can you please post the sizes of your images?

    Hi Volkmar, many thanks for your response.

    Ah I thought there’d be something I hadn’t spotted! That’s nice, particularly like the ‘Group together’ option 👍 I’d recommend the default being ‘Select together’ though as this was how the plugin functioned previously so is what users will be used to.

    Can you please double check if the images are cropped correctly if these options are choosed?
