Image Grid Widget

hi there,
I’m hoping you can help me. When I add the image grid widget and choose portfolio it doesn’t allow me to choose a type.
when I add portfolio items there are three types that I use – Photos, video and maps.
On my old site it just pulled the maps (which is what I want) but now it’s pulling from the videos as well as maps. if someone could tell me how to fix this i would really appreciate it.
