Image gallery and tools plugins suggestions?

I’m looking for image related plugins and was wondering if there are any favorites within the WP community? I found Image Pro, but with it’s “FireFox only” limitation, I’ll need to find something else to use. I’m trying to build an intranet for a business, which is all on IE.

Adding an image to a post, and being able to resize it to fit would be a great find. linking an image to a page, or being able to view the image in a light box at a larger size would be great too.

I also need a gallery. Any suggests would be appreciated.
