Image galleries bad for SEO?

    Hi, instead of adding in images one by one with thumbnail links I’m using a premium gallery plugin shortcode for a grid gallery, i.e. [grid ids=”983,984,985,986,987,988,989,990,991″]

    I have the image titles and alt text all defined for the post, but WordPress SEO says I don’t have images in it. Is this a shortcoming of the plugin or do images added through gallery shortcodes not contribute to page SEO ranking?
