    Hi,

    mh new to wordpress and started my first page, it should fullfill different stuff on the one side i want to have an archieve for my artistic projects. On the other side i want to write articles and posts.

    Here is the address: islandofopenprocess.net

    One problem i can not solve myself is how to have an image on the front page (a drawing that should fit with the design) and white background on sides and articles?

    I was also wondering if it is hard to incease the space between the single circles?

    Thanks in advance

    Martin

    Don't add the second code fragment, just the first:

    .content-area {
     background-color: rgb(255,255,255);
    }

    thanks a lot, now i changed the layout idea and want to have the pages half transparent, id try to add this to the tag:

    .content-area{
    background-color: rgb(255,255,255);
    zoom: 1;
    filter: alpha(opacity=50);
    opacity: 0.5;
    }

    but this make the whole site transparent see here

    i want just the background, is there a solution for that problem?

    Best

    Martin

    Don't use opacity or filter, use rgba http://www.css3.info/introduction-opacity-rgba/ background color
