Image editor displays broken image link when editing

    I realise the default image size options (small/medium/large) have been removed in the most recent WP version.

    However, when I try and edit an image directly through the media uploader, the image displays as a broken image link – meaning i’m unable to preview, crop or scale.

    This also happens when I try to edit via media library >image > edit image.

    All my uploaded images still show in the media library though.

    To see if this was a theme/plugin issue, I have also tested on a fresh WP install using the Twenty Fourteen theme with no plugins and have the same issue.

    Is anyone else experiencing this/have an answer?
