Image Edit and its New URL

Hi guys. I have a small problem (I hope :P). I have inserted one by one 100 images in one page (well not only in one :P). The thing is, they have some black spaces around them so I want to crop them. So, when I crop lets say “image25.jpg” and then save it for all image sizes, the new filename of the edited image is “image25-e234234234234234d22.jpg” which is different from the original . So if I do that then I ll have to manually insert each new thumbnail and image URL in the post. Is there a way the new edited image to have the same url as the same old unedited one? I dont mind losing the functionality of “Restore Original Image”.
