    Hi Ilse,

The slideshow won’t slide the images because the theme’s stylesheet disables the slide’s ‘float: left;’ value.

Line 1701 of the style.css file in your theme says ‘clear: both;’, deleting this line will fix the slideshow.

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

Many thanks for your quick reply!

How can I find line 1701?
(de style.css file van mijn thema is een kladblok, zonder regelnummers..)

    Hi Ilse,

Notepad has a search function (open it by pressing ctrl+f). You can then search for ‘ul.footer_list li ul, ul.footer_list li div’ (without the quotes) and you’ll be brought to the right CSS class immediately. Remember to put the writing cursor (the blinking line) at the top of the file before searching, not at the bottom.

    Groeten,
    Stefan

    Hi,

Your problem is probably caused by the same kind of CSS. Could I have a look at your website, please?

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Sure, thx Stefan. Here is it wp.bagherafilms.com

I have tried your website in most browsers, but they all display the slideshow just fine, were you able to resolve the problem yourself?

Hi stepfan, on safari Version 5.1.6 (7534.56.5), it is not working. You’ve got the first but not the 2 others…
    Thx again

    Hi,

The problem is actually caused by Safari itself. The URL to two of your three images contains the special character: ‘é’. Because of safety measures, Safari doesn’t allow these characters in URLs and you should avoid using any of those. (‘á’, ‘ó’, ‘ç’, andsoforth.)

I’ll try to see if I can find a solution to this, in the mean time it’s probably best if you rename your images so they don’t have any special characters anymore.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Thx so much… it made me crazy and it was such… a small thing !! Thx thx thx Stefan you’re the best !

    Stefan,

Only one picture shows up. It will flash like it is advancing to the next one, but then shows up again. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Sean
