By default, the image wall will appear wherever you enter the shortcode. Your theme will allow the content a certain width, in which my image wall must live. It cannot be wider than the width of your content. So, that is probably it. Difficult to tell for sure without seeing it myself.

You could add the shortcode argument to move the entire image wall to the bottom of the site. But, that means it would be below your footer, so that might not look right either.

Many thanks for getting back on this. It’s probably that reason you mentioned.

So, the plugin does not scale the images to form collage as in the mosaic layout of WordPress gallery. Does it?

I fix the image sizes to thumbnail only, and that I get a grid of fixed size. That’s quite good.

There’s another problem now. I hope you don’t mind I continue it here.

The plugin only load one batch (nearly) and then says it reached the end of the internet.

When setting the batch size to 50, it loads 47 images and stopped, when setting the batch size to 100, it loads 91 images and stopped. Setting batch size to 0 gets a Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.

    Any clue?

My apology that I am not sending a link to the page as it is on a private site.

You could explicitly set the column width if you’d like. Then it will scale images larger than that column to fit the column size. Have you seen the Image Wall Plugin Site?

Batch size of 0 will always error. It has to try to load at least one image per batch.

The plugin should load more images when you scroll to the bottom. And if with a batch size of 100 you get 91, then you know there are at least 91 valid photos, so at 50, it should then load the first batcch (47 apparantly, which leads me to believe three images were either invalid or filtered) and then when you scroll down, the additional photos up to 91.

If it doesn’t do this, then there is a problem. The problem could be with the plugin, but since it is currently working for thousands of others, I would guess it has something to do with your site. But, without seeing it, I can’t do anything further.

I have seen your site and read through the FAQ, issues.

Yep, there is a problem. When set to 50, it only load 47. I have tried moving to after footer, disable footer. It is probably an incompatibility issue with my theme (Suffusion).

I will leave the matter for now. I will get back to this when I have more time.

Thanks a lot for the help.
