    Anyone?

    Hi @desteele,

    Sorry for our late reply.

Have you tried to click the image at post-edit page and then under DISPLAY SETTINGS > Link To Select Custom URL. Fill the field with the full resolution image URL.

If the problem still occurs, please try to clean your browser cache.

Hope that is what you expected.

    Cheers,
    AP

I have done this and I still get a reduced-size image with the edited URL in my address bar:

    https://damonsteele.files.wordpress.com/2017/09/equinoxgeese.jpg

      ?resize=640%2C800

That’s weird, I just try to populate the external image and the link is customizable.
You can take a look in here http://bit.ly/2wp1AjT

Is there any active cache plugin on your site? Or any plugins that change WordPress image behavior?

Oh, I can customize the link, and I put the direct external link in there, but it still offers up a reduced-size image and an altered URL.
