• Hi

The issue only arises on a narrow (Iphone) screen in portrait mode, not landscape or on desktop with developer tools). I cannot recreate it on the desktop.

When a product page is not cached, I can see the image carousel perfectly on the mobile device. When the page is cached, the additional images in the carousel disappear.

I use AO, CCSS, Rapidload, WP SuperCache, AOC.

Any thoughts where to focus my attention? I have reached out to the CCSS team but have heard nothing back. I did some testing and it seemed to work when I turned off with ?ao_noptimize=1. Unfortunately that turns off everything so hard to see the cause?

Most of my users are on a mobile device and it looks like we only have one image per product and it is impacting response levels …

    Many thanks

I think that’s above my knowledge level.

    It is so frustrating !

It is not device dependent, but screen size – I can see the images perfectly when I rotate the phone.

It does work when CCSS is on but there is no relevant rule for the page. As soon as you add a rule, the carousel disappears on portrait mobile phone page.

I have checked all the php/js/css code between the two sites.

I have run with Rapidload plugin deactivated (plant site does not have Rapiload).

I have heard back from Critical CSS but they are trying to avoid the issue by asking if I have changed the carousel. Surely the answer is to fix what we have, as it could be days work to change the carousel over?

I’m afraid I have no idea what can be done apart from the things we already tried … esp. adding the owl-css to each and every rule _should_ have worked (as it turns out that workaround was more or less in line with the developer’s (?) saying the Owl-CSS needed to be loaded before the Owl JS).

Moreover given you found posts/ comments by people that were not using CCSS describing the same/ very similar issues, it seems that the link with CCSS might rather be coincidental?

Given this, the idea of switching to an alternative carousel does make sense to me .. :-/
