After the recent Elementor updates (using 2.7.2), the captions in my image carousel are suddenly showing up all at the same time instead of one caption for each image, like it usually is. The captions are now layered on top of each other so that they are a single unreadable blob. I realize other users have found some issues with the image carousel, so I just wanted to add this weird behavior to the list of things you will investigate, just in case anyone else is having this issue. I also realize it could be something with my site specifically, and I’ll check into that, too. I still love Elementor even if it does weird things every once in awhile.

  • I have exactly the same issue which has only occurred since the last Elementor update (5.2.3). Specifically, it only happens when the number of images in the carousel to show is set to one. If I set it to two or more the problem is not present. The problem is not dependent on the animation method chosen. I have tried fade, slide and roll. I have two carousels with several images each using fade as the animation. It seems as though all the captions are superimposed on each other at the same time.

Thank you, Elementor! I just updated to the latest version (2.7.3) and the captions are back to normal. I guess I wasn’t crazy after all!!
