  • Love the new image handling capability in 2.5/2.6.

    BUT…

If I have a caption that looks like this:

Joe Smith looks over a thingamabob at Bill’s Clam Shack.

The caption will truncate, ending at:

Joe Smith looks over a thingamabob at Bill

Captions with ‘ or ” in them terminate at the apostrophe or quote mark.

I searched the forums for any clues, but found nothing on point. Any idea what’s wrong here?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I was having the same problem, and didn’t find an answer here either. However, I’ve seen this happen with other web applications and I suspected that it might be necessary to “escape” the apostrophe by adding a back slash in front of it like this: Bill\’s Clam Shack.

It worked for me, and you just need to remember to do it when you’re writing a caption.

    Cheers,

    Andrew
