Hey @sinaasappel, That definitely sounds very odd. Can you tell me if there had been any HTML/Code added to those image blocks manually in the past? or were they just ordinary image blocks?
When you see the ‘unexpected or invalid content’ next – would you be able to choose the option where you can either see the error or the HTML of the block – and share it in this thread?
Sure. I can’t get the ones from my client, as I think she’s updated all posts now. Here’s one of mine. As you can see, I used Tasty Pins to add a Pinterest description, so that’s something that’s out of the ordinary. My client doesn’t, though.
<figure class="wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img data-pin-title="Indian ringneck parrot care & info | " data-pin-description="Are you thinking of adding an Indian ringneck parrot (also known as rose-ringed parakeet) to your family? Not surprising, as these talkative birds can make great pets for the right owner. But what will your new feathered friend need to thrive in your home?" src="https://www.psittacology.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Rose-ringed-parakeet.jpg" alt="Illustration of yellow Indian ringneck parakeet" class="wp-image-5371" style="width:565px;height:900px"/></figure>
PS: I’m not 100% sure if the resizing problem has to do with this issue, or if it’s something unrelated.
Hey @sinaasappel,
Thanks dor sharing that – there’s definitely code in there which I imagine would be tripping up the editor – it’s possible it was ok back when the code was originally added – but in the interim period the editor has got stricter about the code within image blocks.

This is the part of the code I suspect is causing the invalid block error. One option would be to insert that code in an HTML Block or Classic Block – and it should try and retain it.
