 * Hello I want to try and do something like the following sites for a portfolio
   site.

 * I am a total newbie so can someone please offer some guidance. Perhaps by suggestiing
   a theme that is similar to the examples, a theme I could try and adapt or even
   a tutorial on how to do it.
