    Hi there 🙂

    I don’t think your site has been hacked.
    Base64 is used in HTML for inline-imaging; so, there’s no need to upload or escape the image. But, this should never be used as a href attribute; which is the cause of this error.

    This is what the decoded base64 image looks like, I think you’ll recognize it 🙂

    It seems to be added (incorrectly) by the theme, and they might have an exclusion set when Yoast SEO is active. You should be able to find an option in the theme.
    When you can’t find it, you should escalate this with the theme developer.

    Nevertheless, The SEO Framework doesn’t output favicons.
    I recommend using the Customizer to upload a site icon; which is available since WordPress 4.4, IIRC.
