Support » Fixing WordPress » Image Alignment

  • I am wondering if someone can assist me with an issue. I am new to WordPress. I followed the instructions for placing an image. However, when I start a new paragraph and place the cursor at the beginning of it, the picture goes to the top of the page. I know how to do right and left alignment, but in this case I clicked left align and it still went to the top of the 1st paragraph. How do you get an image to go below the text? I have read all of the support pages and I still can’t figure it out.

This is the URL. I tried to upload an image on the “about us” page
and no matter where I place the cursor it always goes to the top.
This is happening with all of the pages.

  • You should be able to press the return key to move the image down and then write the text above it.

Thank you for your response. I still have a lot to learn about WordPress.

There is a page where there is a picture and text, and then another paragraph below it. No matter where I place the cursor on the page (have tried before and after 2nd paragraph) the second picture always goes above or next to the first. For this one, If I press enter it will mess up the text. Do you know how I can place multiple pictures and make sure they are placed where I want instead of all going to the top?

You may want to look at the plugins available for this. You can use the [gallery] short-code for multiple pictures.

A link to a page demonstrating the problem might help.
