 * I am new to WordPress (but not new to PHP/SQL).
 * WordPress shrinks image width without shrinking height adequately.

 * In other cases (and/or other themes) WordPress does not shrink width but that
   means the menu gets covered.

 * What could be done here (i.e. how to change with of entire column and make change
   height when width is changed)?
