I’ve tested the block with WP 5.7.1 and it’s working absolutely fine.
It is possible that some other script is causing such behaviour on your end.
Will it be possible for you to share the URL to the page?

Maybe I’m missing something, don’t know. I just installed your block on a test site (WP 5.7.1 and Blocksy Theme 1.7.71). No plugins (only Bot Protection from Siteground), just the Counter Block: https://www.arthacks.nl/123-2/
No animation to be seen, also the Thousand Separator doesn’t work.

I just checked the URL and found that the page is not scrollable as it doesn’t have enough content. The idea of the Counter block is to initiate the animation once a user reaches the counter and once the counter appears in the viewport.
However, if the counter is already in the viewport on page load, it still requires the page to scroll a bit to initiate the count.

To be completely clear, I also do not see a scrolling effect on https://respective-tyrannosaurus.jurassic.ninja/counter/
Not with Firefox, not with Chrome (both macOS), nor on the iPad.
