I’m denied access from my own page!

  • serviceplus

    @serviceplus

    I recently uploaded a new theme and the message “This theme is released under creative commons licence, all links in the footer should remain intact” now displays when I type in my URL (serviceplusnow.com) AND when I try to go to my wordpress log in page. I don’t understand because I hadn’t even modified anything in the footer!
    I tried to access it this way “ftp://username:password@serviceplusnow.com/wp-username” but I got a “530 User can not log in” message. Is there NO WAY for me to access my site ever again???

    FTP into your site and rename the current theme’s folder. That should activate the default theme and allow you back into your site. Then I’d suggest that you try re-downloading that theme or simply use another theme that doesn’t have these restrictions.
