    After 3 years with Vaultpress over 3 sites, I’m cancelling my subscription.


    The answer is simple. Support, or rather, lack of it.

    4 days ago, I decide to transfer one of my sites back to my shared hosting account.

    Vaultpress refused to restore my old site. I raised a support ticket and continued investigating with Hostmonster support.

    To cut a long story short, 4 days later my site is still down. I have raised 2 emergency tickets to Vaultpress but still no word.

    I don’t care that their product is supposed to be ‘the best’

    A software company of this size that offers ZERO support their customers is worthless.

    After 3 years I’ve decided to cancel all 3 of my Vaultpress subscriptions. I’ve used Blogvault before and it’s just as good, and I imagine they will at least have somebody answer support emails before a 4 days timespan has elapsed.

    Goodbye Vaultpress.

    For the sake of fairness I’m updating this thread to say that a ‘happiness engineer’ did respond, albeit 24 hours later than the estimated 5 hour response time.

    I’m still leaving Vaultpress, however.

    When your site is down, you can’t really rely on sporadic email replies to solve problems.
