I’m at my wits end! Help PLEASE!!!!

    I apologize if this isn’t in the correct part of the forum, but I need some help. lol. I have wordpress up and working at http://hollywood-bound.com/wp BUT (and there are so many things I need) I would like for the wordpress to be integrated into my website without the sidebar and header. I have looked everywhere for weeks now.

    Also I would really like for the blog to be on index.php page instead of under the /wp directory or file or whatever.

    I am willing to PAY for somebody to install it they way I want it to and I’ve even signed up on some wordpress installer page but I haven’t heard anything yet.

    PLEASE HELP! Sorry if I’m being so vague.

    Basically, you’re looking to take your existing site and build a theme out of it. Which probably isn’t too hard to do, looking at your site. It looks like it needs a bit of rework though, as it’s using some outdated concepts (that big image as a 5×5 table? yuck!) and a lot of tables for placement and such.

    Let’s address this question piece by piece. You really have two topics to address:

    1. You want to make your blog the main page of your website. Simple. See item 5 in the WordPress installation instructions.
    2. You want to get rid of the sidebar and header. Not sure about this one, but I did find this topic: Get rid of sidebar on ONE page only??. That might get you started.

    Something to that effect. She has managed to integrate wordpress into her site flawlessly, so it seems. =)

    Right. What she basically did was to create a WordPress theme and then change her site to use WordPress for pretty much everything. You need somebody to take your site and turn it into a theme. That will do exactly what you want, more or less.

    I’ll shoot you an email later today with an example. Shouldn’t be hard to pop a quick theme out of that code.
