  • Ok, so I’m an idiot. I deleted the wp_gm_galleries table and now I don’t know how to get it back and I get an annoying error on my page…So I copied the wp_gm_photos table, but now I get this error:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘gm_glr_index’ in ‘field list’]
    SELECT *, gm_glr_index FROM wp_gm_galleries WHERE gm_glr_status NOT IN ( ‘draft’, ‘nopages’ ) ORDER BY gm_glr_index

I know very little about mysql, but if someone can give me what commands I need to fix this, that would be great. I’m also hoping that you’re not going to tell me that I’m screwed and I need to delete the entire database- if I do have to do that, does that mean that everything on my page goes as well?

I don’t know which plugin you are using, but the principle here is the same: remove it completely.

If you have removed a database table, then unless you have a backup you can use, you will have to delete the other tables but ONLY those that are used by the plugin.
Do NOT delete the whole database.
You will have lost some image records – but not the images themselves..

You need to DROP the now useless tables that were created by the plugin. From what you have posted, these will have the prefix ‘wp_gm_’. A guide to dropping tables is here.

If you are at all unsure, ask and keep asking 🙂
