You’re saying there is an issue with PHP 5.4 but not with PHP 5.3?

Yes, it is still occuring after I upgraded to new version both on my local install (XAMPP) and live website.

What type of server is the live website?

    Both using 5.4.

The live site is with Dreamhost.

I also encountered this problem when adding a new channel.
    PHP version 5.4
    More details for you:
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘attributes’ in \wp-content\plugins\automatic-youtube-video-posts\class\xml.php on line 377

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at \wp-content\plugins\automatic-youtube-video-posts\class\xml.php:377) in \wp-includes\option.php on line 568

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at \wp-content\plugins\automatic-youtube-video-posts\class\xml.php:377) in \wp-includes\option.php on line 569

Please can you advise us how to fix this?

Hello, I too am having this problem, though functionality in itself is not affected, the error logs for my client’s site using this plugin averages 28MB a day! They are a high-traffic site and I need to cut the clutter this plugin is causing. The site is running on PHP v5.4.4 (for local development) and PHP v5.3.27 (for the web server). The web server is running on Debian while the local is running on MAMP (Mac). I get the same number of errors for each in the logs and I also get another Illegal string offset 'value' in [file path]/wp-content/plugins/automatic-youtube-video-posts/core/parse.php on line 264

    Any help will be appreciated!

No-one solved the problem, though. If we’re all having the same problem (me included), surely it’s better to keep it in the same thread?

Hi has anybody solved this problem? The web is littered with the errors of you do a search, including some of my AB Testing
    abtesting.runtimetv.com/‎
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘value’ in /home/runtime/public_html/wp-content/plugins/automatic-youtube-video-posts/class/xml.php on line 362. Warning: Illegal …sites!

I am sure a fix must be in the cards?

The same is happening to me, and after reloading the page it appears ok.
I think the problem relies on the PSEUDO CRON JOBS the plugin has where it asks you to set how many hours to wait until get the videos automatically from the channel or playlist.
Every time someone visits the site after “x” hours, the plugin tries to import new videos. Then the error appears.
But after reloading the page evererything works well.

    But maybe im wrong.

The author of the plugin should answer please.
