"Illegal String Offset" Error Messages?

    Hello all,

    I just downloaded the Hueman theme (Version 2.1.5) off of Alex’s website and now the following error messages are displayed at the top of my site:

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-color’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 220

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-image’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 221

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-position’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 222

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-attachment’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 223

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-repeat’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 224

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background-size’ in /../wp-content/themes/hueman/functions/dynamic-styles.php on line 225

    I tried deleting the theme via FTP and reuploading the .zip file, but I received the same error. Thoughts?
