    @joe Dolson,
    Using My-Tickets version 1.2.8
    I’m receiving this error:

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘event_begin’ in C:\xampp\htdocs\my-computer\wp-content\plugins\my-tickets\mt-cart.php on line 515
    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘event_time’ in C:\xampp\htdocs\my-computer\wp-content\plugins\my-tickets\mt-cart.php on line 515

    I saw something in here (support) about 5 months ago saying you’d thought you had this taken care of, but the person with the question never got back to you.

    What causes this error? I’m completely open to it being user error, but I’d sure like to figure it out so I don’t do it again 😉

    Well, here’s my best answer for what’s happening.

    This error happens if there’s an item in a shopping cart which isn’t valid for selling tickets. This could happen, for example, if you created an event for testing, added stuff to your cart without purchasing it, then deleted the event for testing.

    Deleting the event doesn’t remove the item from your cart, so the cart still looks at that item, and tries to fetch data for it.

    It would only happen to anybody who had added the now-removed item to their cart but not purchased the tickets to go with it.

    And that’s more than likely what happened.
    Thanks for cluing me in.
