Hey guys. So I have a new Multisite install running on IIS, but having an issue. When I create a new multisite, say site1.main.com it is by defualt pointing to the default site in IIS. When I add the url the main.com bindings, it works. I can also change my default site to my WP multisite and then I don not have to add the sub site to the binding.

Here is the question. As this is clearly an IIS issue, does anyone know of a way to configure IIS to push all subsites to the right WP install without having to add each URL to the bindings and or changing the default site to the WP install? I am looking to host many multi sites on this server each install having up to 50 sites each. Simply adding each site to the bindings would be far to time consuming. It would be nice if there was a work around.

Oh by the way this is win server 2012 rt running IIS 8.5 and the latest WP build.

    thanks in advance.

So i am wondering if this issue is better directed to an IIS formum. I am sort of thinking that what needs to happen is some sort of a wildcard for sub domains on the main domain. I know we cant do wildcards in the bindings, but does any one know of way of doing this through a web.config in iis? I am sort of thinking this web.config would then need to live on the root of the default site.

Let me know if you guys have seen this and or know of a solution.

    Thanks again.
