ignoring template, order and css after upgrade

    Upgraded to 1.19 after a few months (don’t know if I missed an intermediate upgrade) but Staff List is now ignoring all settings – order, template and css – I can even remove everything between [staff_loop] and [/staff_loop] and save – but everything still shows, ignoring my order!

    I’m using shortcode [simple-staff-list order=”ASC”]

    My theme is Mk

    It’s a shame if this plugin is no longer compatible with my theme as I can’t find anything else as straightforward – but I guess that may be the case?

    Hi webbyfoot –
    Sorry you’re having problems, but this sounds to me like your website has stored a cached version of the page that contains your staff listing. Try going to the page with the Simple Staff List shortcode on it and pressing the ‘Publish’ button, that may be enough for the cache to be cleared. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to clear the website cache through your caching plugin.

    Thanks – yes this was exactly the problem – though I have no caching plugins and couldn’t find anyway of finding where anything was caching (the page had been published a number of times while investigating the problem) so in the end I had to resort to changing the permalink 🙁
