Is there a way to have the Contact Form Submissions plug-in ignore an autoresponder being sent from Contact Form 7?

Currently, we’re seeing double the number of entries in the database, one for the submitted form, and one for the auto-responder that we’ve setup.

    Hi

Your autoresponder will no longer be recorded in the latest version I just released, 1.5.7.

    Thanks for your support

    Jason,

    Thanks for the excellent plugin.

With regards to this topic, upon updating to the latest version the ‘mail 2’ emails have certainly stopped being recorded in the database. However, the email is also no longer even being sent.

At first I’d put this down to the main Contact Form 7 plugin being updated but alas the problem was only fixed after rolling back your plugin not the main one.

Just thought you should be aware that other users may be experiencing the same issue without even noticing. In my opinion it’s better that both emails are stored as confirmation/proof that they were both sent out.

My suggestion would be to have this as an option to switch on/off.

    Thanks

    Hi Adam

Thanks for reporting the issue with mail2 not sending, I’ve now fixed the issue in version 1.6 (just uploaded).

I’ve also enabled saving mail2 by default and users can disabled it by using a filter wpcf7s_save_submission_mail2 and return false.
