  It would be handy to be able to ignore the first line of the CSV

  Can you elaborate on that? I’m not sure what the use case for that would be. Why would your CSV file have an extra line at the beginning?

  Simple solution: I added a filter to the table data array, just before the table gets rendered.

  To remove the first row, install v4.1.3 (or later) and add this code to your functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/sscovil/5798612
